Full Description

Hispano-Moresque Lustre Charger

This dish is covered in a cream tin glaze decorated with brown lustre and blue. The central boss is solid lustre with a blue top, while the surrounding well bears alternating blue and relief-painted leaf designs on a trefoil ground. The rim has seven blue leaves alternating with dotted bands and trefoil motifs. The reverse of the dish is decorated with  a central rosette, concentric circles and fern designs.
