bowl and cover with moulded petal shaped convex panels, finely painted with sprays of flowers within borders of scrolls, flowerheads and meandering vines, with two S-shaped handles and acorn shaped finial 15cm high, 16.3cm diameter
The form of this bowl and cover is derived from contemporary Moghul jade vessels. It can be assumed that this piece was made in China for the Indian market.

finely painted with peonies, flowerheads, peaches and fruit bats on a blue ground, a border of stiff lotus leaves around the base, a border of alternating stiff leaves and pendant husks around the rim, made for the Indian market, 20.3cm high
Brass kettle ewer India, 16th century
the spirally fluted compressed globular body with raised beaded ribs in between bands of stylised lotus leaves, the gently s-shaped hexagonal spout engraved with lilies and ending in a dragon head terminal, the hollow handle with centrally placed lidded opening 22.5cm high

of globular form with slightly flared cylindrical mouth, the brass body inlaid with silver cartouches laid out in a lattice pattern between two bands of scrolling flowerheads, the mouth inlaid with a similar pattern 16.8cm high

each showing a Rajastani lion and boar hunt running through deeply cut scrolling floral branches against a textured background, framed by five finely beaded bands and broader borders of stylised flowers and foliage, the domed hinged covers with central flowerhead surrounded by borders of fruiting vines and flowers 15.9cm
Bidri bowl India, 18th century
of rounded shape on splayed foot, the outside inlaid in silver with ovals formed by single stems of flowers and leaves, the inside with central roundel containing Arabic script surrounded by two borders of Arabic verses from Nad-Ali 12.2cm wide, 5.9cm high
Set of four Bidri carpet weights India, 17th century
shaped to resemble Muslim domes with acorn shaped facetted finials on stepped square bases, the domes and the gently curved feet inlaid in a chevron pattern in between bands of stylised stiff leaves, the corners on top of the square bases inlaid in reverse with flowerheads and leaves 9.9cm square, 9.7cm high

of globular shape inlaid in silver with rows of flowers in between borders of flowerheads, stems and leaves, another border of pendant elliptical flowers around shoulder and foot, with straight hexagonal spout and scrolling handle, the hinged domed cover with pointed finial 31.3cm high
